Call for writers for The Conversation

The Conversation is a media outlet which takes short comment pieces widely used by the press – see here. It consists of short articles (c 600-800 words), and these are often picked up by mainstream media (stories have featured in the Guardian, Daily Mail and on the BBC website), for example here is historian James McDougall’s (Faculty of History, University of Oxford) piece.

The Conversation is keen to expand its stable of politics experts on the following countries and regions:

Politics + Society:
– Central America
– The Caribbean
– Bangladesh
– Myanmar
– Pakistan

Anyone from the University of Oxford working in politics, geography, history, or area studies who focuses on these areas is welcome to get in touch. This is a callout for people who haven't written before – please contact andrew.naughtie@theconversation.com before writing anything.
