Early Career Lunch

Tuesday, February 9, 2016 -
1:00pm to 2:00pm
Radcliffe Humanities
TORCH Common Room (third floor)

This week we're joined by two ECAs, Jonathan Patterson and Jennifer Rushworth, who will tell us a bit about their current research. At around 1:20 we'll be hearing from Jenny about translating and rewriting the medieval Italian poet Petrarch in the long nineteenth century in France, and then from Jonathan about 'Villainy in France, 1450-1610: an Anglo-French approach' - specifically, the methodological considerations informing that choice of title, or what it means to approach villainy in a way that is both 'English' and 'French'.

No need to book, or to stay for the whole hour; drop in for a sandwich whenever you're free.
