Open Days: Religion, Art and Community in Oxford
As part of two upcoming exhibitions, Imagining the Divine: Art and the Rise of World Religions (19 Oct. 2017 – 18 Feb. 2018), and Those Who Follow (30 Oct 2017 – 20 Mar. 2018), the Empires of Faith project are looking for interested volunteers to share their thoughts on religion, art, and community in Oxford today, to help with research currently being undertaken at the University of Oxford. We are looking for volunteers, aged 18 up, to take part in one of three workshops running on 11th and 25th November; 3rd December atat the Classics department, 66 St Giles, Oxford OX1 3LU. Each workshop will run from 11am to 3:30pm, and include free entry to both exhibitions with curators of the shows, free lunch and refreshments, and an informal discussion of the themes of the exhibitions. Participants will also be asked to fill out two questionnaires, at the start and end of the day.
