Keynote speaker: Dr. Louise Hardwick (University of Birmingham)
The Women in Humanities programme are hosting a Feminist Thinking Graduate Conference.
Keynote starts at 2pm and will be given by TORCH's Women in the Humanities Visiting Fellow, Dr. Louise Hardwick (University of Birmingham). She will be discussing Euzhan Palcy’s Rue Cases-Nègres / Sugar Cane Alley (1983): Women’s Cinema, French Cinema, Caribbean Cinema.
The Feminist Thinking Research Seminar and graduate conference are associated with the interdisciplinary M.St. in Women’s Studies and funded by the Faculties of Classics, English Language and Literature, Medieval and Modern Languages, and Philosophy.
