Naomi Richman

DPhil Candidate


Naomi Richman is a DPhil candidate researching gender and sexual difference in Born-Again Christianity using anthropological and theological methods. Today, one in five Christians around the world are Born-Again and churches often constitute international networks, with branches around the world. Her research involves looking at local instantiations of Born-Again churches and documenting their religious message as it traverses the globe and takes root in different cities. So far, her project has taken her to Nigeria, Los Angeles and London.
