ROBERT FREEMAN 

DPhil student

 

Robert Freeman is studying for a DPhil in English at St Hugh’s College. His doctoral work concerns the relationship between canon, the classic and empire. He has previously worked for the United Nations Nansen Initiative on displacement due to natural disasters and climate change, and as a Clerk to Justice Sisi Khampepe at South Africa’s Constitutional Court.

His research interests include cultural theory, human mobility, modernism, administrative law and world literatures.
