This Heritage Pathway expedition to Sussex focusses on the opportunities and challenges faced by smaller independent museums and heritage organisations, and will provide insights into how research connects across the broad range of these organisations' activities.
We will visit Charleston (https://www.charleston.org.uk/), the Bloomsbury home of Art & Ideas, where we will enjoy a specialist tour before pausing for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft, to discuss the ways in which museums can tell the story of landscapes and artistic movements.
