What can TORCH do for you? And what might you do with TORCH?

Tuesday, November 11, 2014 -
1:00pm to 2:00pm
Radcliffe Humanities, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford
Research Common Room, Third Floor

Speaker: Professor Stephen Tuck (Director of TORCH)

The Humanities Division and TORCH invite all staff on fixed-term research or teaching contracts to a free informal lunch every week from week 2 in Michaelmas term.

These lunches are primarily a chance for research and teaching staff from across the divisions to meet one another in an informal setting. They also offer the opportunity for those early on in their career to think about their career development and possible ways of getting the most out of their time in Oxford.

Besides, on top of the lunch you will have the opportunity to attend of short informal presentations on topics relating to the career development of early-career academics, followed by discussion.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact training@humanities.ox.ac.uk
