2025 Conference Announcement
The Race & Resistance Research Hub is pleased to officially announce their 2025 conference,
‘Resistance, Renewal, Reimagination: 100 Years of Race & Resistance in Britain’.
The conference invites scholars, activists, researchers, and professionals from all sectors to explore how the last 100 years of race and resistance can inform our present and guide our futures. This conference aims to facilitate discussions on current work happening in Black Britain, in an attempt to answer the following questions:
- How can we speak intellectually, sensitively, and critically about race & resistance during multiple political crises?
- How do we practically claim and ground histories (and presents) of race & resistance through interdisciplinary practice?
It is scheduled to take place on Friday 7th March 2025 at the University of Oxford. Tickets will be on sale in the new year, so make sure to save the date now!
