Africa Pulse Launch Videos Released

Africa Pulse is a three year translation project that has seen several books by Classic African writers translated into English and published by Oxford University Press. This project has been coordinated by TORCH International Fellow Antjie Krog and the University of the Western Cape Humanities Faculty. The following videos are from the launch event held at the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town, November 2019. 

Also, on Friday 28 February 2020, TORCH International Fellow Antjie Krog, Professor Nkosinathi Sithole, Professor of English at the University of the Western Cape, and Professor Chris Dunton, formerly Professor of English and Dean of Humanities at the National University of Lesotho, presented the OUP Africa Pulse series and discuss translation in translated contexts.
