Global Link is a development education centre based in Lancaster. We use participatory arts methodologies such as digital storytelling to increase understanding of global issues relating to development, environment and human rights. In 2015 Lancaster became a dispersal area for asylum seekers, so now most of our work is supporting refugees and asylum seekers in a wide range of ways. See www.globallink.org.uk for more information.
'My Phone' and 'A Sign from God' are digital stories produced by our colleagues from Syria who arrived in Lancaster as asylum seekers in 2016.
You can view the two digital stories created by Syrians on this website: https://globallink.org.uk/digital-stories/
