The TORCH International Officer supports researchers in their collaborations with international partners. Sitting centrally within the TORCH Team, this role is responsible for the executive administrative support for the international collaborations through TORCH, including short-term and long-term projects.
The International Officer also supports the international-related schemes such as Visiting Fellowships, which includes the 'TORCH Global South Visiting Professorship scheme'. This role also involves maintaining and scoping out new potential international relationships with external partners, including, but not restricted to, research centres, museums, humanitarian entities, or creative industry partners.
The role is line-managed by the TORCH Operations Manager and works closely with the Operations Manager and with the Head of Research Partnerships on strategy and logistics. The International Officer also connects with the TORCH Director, senior stakeholders, and the wider Humanities Division on these projects.Applications must be made online.
