Oral
The mouth-feel of Latin is anchovies,
as Greek’s is eucalyptus and burnt sugar,
simmered light. Latin is spatch-cock,
aquavit, scallion, partridge, crab-apple,
cud, gum. Greek is fig. On the tongue
is milk-thistle, muscat. Greek is eucharist,
orexic, crystal meth, Latin’s breast-fed,
fellatious, al dente, wolfed. Picked clean.
