The Oxford Comics Network is looking for enthusiastic graduate students at the University of Oxford to join its team as Graduate Convenors. Responsibilities include co-organising the conference ‘Comics and/as Resistance’ in Week 9 Hilary Term 2023, and co-hosting network events throughout the academic year (usually once per fortnight during Weeks 1-8).
The Oxford Comics Network, generously sponsored by TORCH (The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities), brings together students, critics, and practitioners to explore the power, politics and potential of the comics form.

Applications should be submitted to comics@torch.ox.ac.uk by Friday 23 September 2022. Please include your name, college, year and course of study, and a brief statement (max. 100 words) outlining why you would like to be a Graduate Convenor. Notifications will be made by 30 September 2022.
