Comparative history of literatures of the Islamic world: round-table discussion. The event will explore the two key concepts, comparative history and Islamic world. Contributors will be Oxford-based faculty and research students working on Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Urdu and other languages. The format will consist of prepared reflections on a set of questions and issues, followed by a general debate.
