FORA brings together experts from both Oxford and our partner African institutions from multidisciplinary fields to share knowledge, ideas and solutions on varied Africa-related issues. The day features energetic keynote addresses and thought-provoking presentations from academics in the fields of education, health, machine learning, classics, law and history among others. Bringing together interdisciplinary researchers to discuss the importance of equitable research collaborations and good practices that make a research collaboration successful.
The day will also feature an Africa-focused poster competition for postgraduate students working on any area of research linked to Africa – where you can present your research.
If you would like to be considered, please send the title of your research, your department, your expected year of graduation and a 200-word abstract by Friday, May 1st 2020 to afox@ndm.ox.ac.uk.
