Collisions: AIMC 2024

aimc

"Collisions" - the first of three concerts featured in the AI and Musical Creativity Conference (AIMC 2024) 9-11 September 2024.

This tradition-defying concert collides imaginative and radical AI technology with four contemporary music specialists at the frontiers of 21st-century performance.

Ted Moore’s "Saccades" for saxophone, electronics, and video explores information overload through AI-driven audio-visual connections while Artemi-Maria Gioti’s "Bias II" showcases a constantly evolving duet between pianist and AI performer. "Cuticles", by John Aulich blends percussion and AI-sourced human sounds in a deep exploration of the human body, while Yigit Kolat’s "Spomenik I" challenges AI's role in music and society through an abstract 3D-graph-based composition. Join us and experience how AI enhances musical expression, challenges perceptions, and bridges technology with human artistry.
