Comics at the Oxford Story Museum: A Conversation with Tom Fickling (The Phoenix comic) and a Private View of KABOOM!

 

Thursday 26 January, 5.30pm-7.30pm at the Oxford Story Museum

Peter Kessler (LICAF) will be in conversation with Tom Fickling (The Phoenix). Following the talk in the Magic Common Room, drinks will be available to purchase at Ginny’s Bar, and guests will be invited to view the KA-BOOM! comics exhibition in The Treasure Chamber. 

KA-BOOM! The Art of Creating Comics has been created by the Story Museum in partnership with The Phoenix, Rebellion and Beano. It takes visitors on an interactive journey through the comic-making process in order to encourage the next generation of comic artists and writer.

 

This talk is part of the Oxford Comics Network Seminar Series.

There is no cost to attend but registration is required.

Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
