Death is one of the few remaining taboo subjects in our society, and yet it is also one of the few true universals of human experience. This term, as we move through the season of All Souls and All Saints, we will mark them with three events to open up conversation about death, dying, bereavement and the afterlife.
Gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. This is a completely open discussion with no agenda, no expectations, and no right answers. Death Cafes have been running across the world since 2011, and their aim is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.
