Hip hop artist Rawz begin's his tenure as Resident Sound Artist for 2022 at St John's College, with a public screening of the new documentary film Digging Crates in the college's auditorium. Set in the Pitt Rivers Museum, the film follows Rawz and comrades from Inner Peace Records, as they work alongside a team of African musicians to create an original hip hop track, using the museum’s collection of African instruments. This event includes a Q+A session with Rawz and other members of the cast and crew, offering a chance to discuss the project directly with it's instigators. (rating: U)
