During Michaelmas Term 2017 there is The Long Nineteenth Century Seminar: Forms of Service in the Long Nineteenth Century. This seminar will host two talks on 'Domestic Service and Mass Leisure in France and Britain, 1890-1930' with Fanny Louvier (Balliol College, University of Oxford) and 'While Seeking a Situation': Cross-Cultural Experiences of Out-of-Work Foreign Domestics in London, c.1880-1930' with Olivia Robinson (Kellogg College, University of Oxford).

Seminars are held in the MacGregor Room, Oriel College, at 11.10am on Wednesdays
