Fragments: A Drama Writing Workshop for 14-18 year olds

This practical creative writing workshop will use fragments from ancient Greek drama to spark your creative process and create brand new pieces of work for the stage. 

 

Using fragments of text as inspiration, you'll collaborate to create group scratch performances and write your own monologues. 

 

Your monologue will be made into an anthology of new works, of which you'll receive a copy after the workshop. 

 

No prior knowledge required. We particularly encourage participants who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies. 

 

This free workshop is led by playwright and Pegasus Supported Artist Hannah Greenstreet and director Charlotte Vickers, supported by Classics academics from the University of Oxford, Dr Marchella Ward and Martina Astrid Rodda.
