Throughout the year, the Museum has been hosting three poets in residence. John Barnie, Steven Matthews and Kelley Swain have been immersing themselves in the Museum and its collections. This new collaboration has revived a connection between the Museum and poetry which goes right back to the nineteenth century, when the scientists who founded the Museum worked closely with the Pre-Raphaelite artists and poets. Tonight we will launch a new poetry anthology to celebrate these collaborations old and new. Come to the Museum for an evening of readings and to see the exhibits and the architecture that have inspired poets through the ages. To book a place go here.
