Join us to celebrate the new exhibition, Image & Identity: Early colonial photographs – views of Ceylon/Sri Lanka and Oxfordshire, at MOX.
Curated by scholar Shalini Ganendra, this exhibition includes feature of two photographic collections, not previously exhibited: the Jermyn collection of photographs from Ceylon (Pitt Rivers Museum Collection) and the Underhill collection of photographs of Oxfordshire during the late 19th and early 20th century, and images from private collections. The curator will introduce the exhibition, with opportunity to walk through that evening. Light refreshments and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.
The Exhibition is on through December 31, 2022.
