About this Event
For the last night of the Lande: the Calais 'Jungle' and Beyond exhibition, the Pitt Rivers Museum will be opened for a special event. Come along for your last chance to see the exhibition, meet the co-curatorial team and discuss what we can all do to further support refugees and asylum seekers in Britain.
To mark the end of the exhibition, photographic and art works from the display will be auctioned off during the evening, with all funds going to Help Refugees.
There will be a pay bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.
The event is free but donations to Help Refugees through our contactless donation point are encouraged.
"The issues raised by 'Lande' are not particular to the migrants of the Calais 'Jungle'; they are a universal feature of wealthy countries today. The museums and universities in those countries are part of the problem, but they can become part of the solution."
