On 15th February 2021, Dr Arlene Holmes-Henderson spoke to 16-18 year-olds across Wales as part of the Linking Languages Festival organised by the MFL National Student Mentoring Project. Her presentation provided an introduction to Classical languages and cultures. Students and co-ordinators wrote their names in the Greek alphabet and made links between Latin, Greek and modern languages, including Welsh. Students asked about the study of Classics and Modern Languages at university, and career opportunities afterwards.
