POSTPONED | Medical Humanities ECR & DPhil Writing Group

medhum

This event will be postponed to a later date. Information will follow soon.

Please join us for a weekly medical humanities writing group. Our intent is to create a dedicated space and time for ECRs and DPhils to work on academic writing, protected from admin, grading, and other distractions. For anyone feeling isolated with their research, this is also a great way to get to know more of your peers!

Sessions are informal and will be three hours each, with timed writing blocks, coffee (and tea), some sweet treats for sustenance, and comradery. If of interest, we may even try to do a short mindfulness / stretching session for invigoration half-way through!

Schedule and locations:

Oct 28 & Nov 4: Seminar Room, 47 Banbury Rd

Nov 11 & Nov 25: Seminar Room, Radcliffe Humanities Building

Dec 3: TBC

If you would like to attend our first session or be on a mailing list specific to these sessions, please fill in this form, ideally by Thursday mornings, so that we can get a count on numbers.

Please contact Janelle.winters@history.ox.ac.uk with any questions!
