This seminar, 'Narrating History Through Comics: Aivali', is hosted by the Modern Greek Seminar and Sub-Faculty of Byzantine and Modern Greek. Comics artist Soloup will discuss the paths that modern graphic novels follow when they represent historical events, based on examples from his graphic novel Aivali (2014).

Comics and Graphic Novels: The Politics of Form is a new interdisciplinary network and seminar series promoting the academic study of comics at Oxford.
