The Black Lives Matter movement has seen a resurgence of Black-Palestininan solidarity. This understanding of resistance to a common oppression is founded on an understanding of America and Israel as settler-colonial states. Come and hear about the long history of this solidarity movement, which first emerged in the 1960s after the convergence of Black urban rebellions and the June 1967 Arab-Israeli war. Speakers TBA.
