Orcadian lifeways: diet and health in pre-Viking and Viking-age Orkney

At the dawn of the Viking Age, the Orcadian Picts were faced with a period of sociocultural and economic transition. This talk focuses on using osteology and stable isotope analysis in tracing patterns in diet and nutrition to provide evidence for Pictish-Norse interaction.
