Applications Open: The Paris-Oxford Partnership (POP) Early Career Researcher Partnership Programme
The Paris-Oxford Partnership (POP) is a new scheme motivated by the exceptional strength, range, and quality of Humanities research in the University of Oxford and the Université de Paris in partnership with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). It is designed to enhance and support the existence of prior research links, and identify potential for significant interdisciplinary activity.
The Early Career Researcher Partnership Programme supports Oxford ECRs to facilitate an interdisciplinary and collaborative event (seminar or workshop) with ECRs from the Université de Paris in Oxford during Trinity Term 2022 or the academic year 2022-23.
Applications are invited from ECRs to explore innovative new paradigms or research questions, and to foster relationships between researchers in Oxford and Paris. For this opportunity, proposals are welcome that address topics of strategic interdisciplinary significance. Indicative themes may include but are not limited to borders; humanities and the brain; ecologies, the climate crisis and environmental humanities; government, governance and big data; digital humanities; health, well-being and the medical humanities; decolonisation and post-colonialism; curation and performance.
Funding of up to £1,500 is available, and some event and communications support will be provided by the TORCH team.
