The University of Oxford’s second Public Engagement with Research Conference will take place on Wednesday, 8th July 2020.

This one-day event is to be inspired, to learn, to be challenged and explore the latest developments in Public Engagement with Research practice and policy.

This call is for researchers from across the University to submit your ideas and expressions of interest for contributions to the conference.

This year’s conference offers a whole host of different spaces for all sorts of activities: talks; roundtable discussions; workshops; panel debates; exhibits; stands and wildcards all welcomed!

Your contribution can focus on any Public Engagement with Research topic, theme, challenge or issue such as sharing your experiences on the successes and challenges of PER; sharing the outcomes and lessons learnt of your PER activities; exploring best practice; discussing culture change; building capacity through workshops and training; or pondering public engagement policy.

For interest and inspiration, the PER Conference programme from the inaugural conference that took place in 2018 is available here.

You can submit your conference proposal by completing the Google Form here.

The closing date for proposals is Friday 29 November 2019 at 5pm.
