Part of the ‘Practical Architectural History Seminars’ in partnership with Purcell, an architectural practice specialising in conservation and heritage. The series will explore how to conserve historic buildings of all types and make them fit for contemporary use. The speaker at this session will be Michael Morrison, architect and partner at Purcell. Michael is highly regarded within the field of conservation, and has worked both in the UK and internationally, including work for the Antarctic Heritage Trust. In this session he will discuss his work conserving the historic whaling stations on the island of South Georgia.
