‘Queer Victorians’ tour of Colour Revolution: Victorian Art, Fashion and Design

To mark LGBTQ History month, join exhibition curators Matthew Winterbottom (Ashmolean Museum), and Professor Charlotte Ribeyrol (Sorbonne University) and Professor Stefano Evangelista (Faculty of English) for an out-of-hours tour of the Ashmolean’s current exhibition.
Drawing on the extraordinary range of exhibits in the exhibition, the tour will tell the colourful stories of several LGBTQ Victorians, including May Morris, Simeon Solomon, Charles Ricketts, John Addington Symonds, Oscar Wilde and Loie Fuller.
