Seminar hosted by the Race and Resistance TORCH Network. Girlhood (Bande de filles, 2014) is a French coming of age drama directed by Céline Sciamma. The film follows a group of young black teenage girls who live in a banlieue outside the city centre of Paris.

We will meet in the lecture theatre on the second floor of the Radcliffe Humanities Building, rather than in the usual seminar room. After the screening, we will head over to the Royal Oak with anyone who would like to discuss the film.

Please note the change of time and location.
