Hybrid. For those in Oxford, we will meet in person in Seminar Room 11 at St Anne’s College and join the call together.

This event is aimed at PGT and PGR students, but all are welcome.
In advance of our December 5 lunchtime panel on the theme “Underworlds/Underwater,” we are teaming up with our IDC partners at the University of Toronto to delve into some readings on the theme of water. Feel free to read one or both:
- Jue, Melody. "Recipes for the Future of Seaweed Aquaculture." Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics, 37(2), 2024, 1-14.
- Neimanis, Astrida. "Hydrofeminism: Or, on Becoming a Body of Water." In Undutiful Daughters: Mobilizing Future Concepts, Bodies, and Subjectivities in Feminist Thought and Practice (2012).
This will be a great chance to meet other graduate students in the Environmental Humanities and to get familiar with some of the ideas that might come up on 5 December, whether you have completed the readings or you are only dipped into them.
