We will have three speakers sharing their research:

Rebecca Boyd (University of Oxford): Witchcraft as a Blueprint for Lesbian Existence in the poetry of Renée Vivien

Luca Pinelli (University of Bergamo/Université Sorbonne Nouvelle):Queering Matrilinearity: Virginia Woolf, Simone de Beauvoir, and Feminist Reception

Rowan Wilson (University of Oxford): ‘You do not get to consent to yourself, even if you might deserve the chance’: Nature’s Coercion and Transgender Volition in Le Roman de Silence

This event will be held in person, in the Seminar Room on the 3rd floor of the Radcliffe Humanities building. There is level access into and around the building. The secure entrance door is powered. There is lift access to all floors. There are wheelchair accessible toilets on all floors of the building. There are designated Blue Badge parking spaces next to the entrance; please contact the department in advance to book a space. There are induction loops on the reception desk and in the Seminar and Lecture Rooms.
