Rawz, the St John's Sound-Artist-in-Residence for 2022, is holding a series of six workshops for members of St John's College and the wider Oxford community. The general public is also welcome. The first two workshops will take place in Hilary Term and the final four (which will include hands-on training in hip hop production and rapping) will take place in Trinity Term. There will be a showcase performance at the end of Trinity Term.
Workshop 1 will look at the history of hip hop and its influence on global culture; will chart Rawz's own personal journey as a hip hop artist. (approx. 1.5hrs).
