This collaborative project between ‘The Black Legacy Society’ and 'Race and Resistance’ will aim to contribute to the current narratives which surround Black academics and their experiences. The event will act as an opportunity to engage with discourse(s) which strive to explore the specific experience of Black students in academic spaces. This includes pipeline issues, tokenism within access and diversity initiatives and various socio-economic obstacles.
