The TORCH SciPo 2021 Schools Poetry Competition

Entries are invited for the TORCH SciPo 2021 junior science poetry competition. The subject this year is ‘Bird Song’ and the judge will be David Morley.

You must be under 18 to enter. Book token prizes of £50 and £25 prizes are offered for winner and runner up. Winners will be invited to read at the virtual SciPo2021 conference on Saturday 13th March, and winning poems will be published on the TORCH SciPo website. The competition is free to enter.

 

Enter by email to <communications@st-hildas.ox.ac.uk>. In the body of the email give your full name, age, address, phone number and the title of your poem.

 

Attach your poem to your email as a word document or pdf. No other file formats will be considered. One poem is allowed per entrant. Do not give your name on the document containing your poem. This is because entries are judged anonymously.

 

The closing date for entries is Saturday 13th February.
