Proposals are sought from Oxford researchers in any Division to develop new, and contribute to existing, research collaborations with theatres and theatre-makers in Oxfordshire.
The Theatres Seed Fund is an internal grant scheme that supports research, knowledge exchange, and public engagement through collaborative projects between researchers and Oxfordshire theatres and theatre-makers.
The objectives for this fund are to:
- Develop new, and consolidate existing, research collaborations.
- Provide a ladder of engagement, enabling researchers to trial ideas and develop collaborative projects which may be continued after the end of initial seed funding.
This year there will be two deadlines, with up to £5,000 available at each from a total pot of £10,000.
The first deadline is 12 noon, Thursday 24th October, and the second 12 noon, Thursday 21st November. All funding must be spent by 31 July 2020.
Grants of up to £3,000 per application are available to enable researchers to develop and deliver collaborative projects with Oxfordshire theatres and theatre-makers. These projects can be stand-alone, or used as proof-of-concept for larger-scale projects and funding applications.
This funding round has now taken place. If you have any questions, please contact Ruth Moore, Theatre Project Officer.
