Part-time Project Manager - Fantasy Futures

We are looking to recruit an experienced project manager for the Fantasy Futures Project. This role is a responsible, demanding and pivotal project position, which offers the opportunity to work at the centre of innovation and research engagement through TORCH, in the Humanities Divisional Office.

The role is part-time at 0.4 FTE (15 hours per week), and fixed-term for two years

The role will manage all aspects of the Fantasy Futures project, including overseeing workstreams and deliverables. They will manage input from collaborators and key stakeholders keeping them on track and communicating clearly and regularly on progress and flagging any issues. The role includes working on and developing collaborations through the project, benefiting from the wider TORCH research engagement environment and community. Alongside the principal investigator, this role will be at the centre of the development of this project, ensuring that all of the collaborative team, activities and researchers are included and appropriately supported.

Fantasy Futures is a project funded by the University of Oxford’s Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) and is led by Professor Wes Williams (TORCH Director). The Fantasy Futures project focuses on interactive and immersive screen-based technology. Over the next two years, this project will support the substantive development and scaling up of an innovative creative-project concept with Humanities researchers at its heart, with external tech and cultural collaborators as partners
