During the summer of 2020, the Queen’s College Translation Exchange coordinated a collaborative translation of a comics blog published in Le Monde during lockdown. Over 120 people across the world worked together to translate a series of comics by Fiamma Luzzati, which depicts the everyday experiences of people in France and Italy during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. In this presentation various contributors will discuss the process of this collaborative and virtual translation at a time when everyone was still working from home.
