TORCH and the University of Oxford Faculty of English is hosting a one-day workshop on 'Literary Cosmopolitanism'. This workshop is part of a Fell-funded network on the transnational literary field, which brings together graduates, post-doctoral researchers and faculty from Oxford and the CNRS/EHESS (Paris). The network, created by Stefano Evangelista and Gisèle Sapiro, facilitates a conversation between literary studies and sociological approaches to literature based on presentations of work in progress as well as seminar-style discussion of critical readings.
