These small group seminars are designed primarily for General Practitioners and Hospital Doctors, but are open to any interested individuals within the health service. They are led by an Oxford academic and a General Practitioner, and are a forum for discussing and illuminating the experience of medicine through literary texts.
Our seminars aim to:
foster reflective practice and examine the ways we communicate
broaden our appreciation of the experience of illness and well-being
explore the more qualititave aspects of the Personal Development Plan
Give doctors a renewed sense of the pleasure of their vocation, and introduce a range of thought-provoking material
