Clare Denton is the Knowledge Exchange Coordinator for the Humanities division, supporting the nine faculties in the areas of knowledge exchange, impact and evaluation. Clare is currently based in TORCH where she manages the Knowledge Exchange Fellowship Awards, the Innovation Awards and the Brookes-Oxford Partnership Awards.
Clare has worked with Oxford University for five years, as Head of Visitor Services for the Museum of Natural History, helping to steer the public face of the museum through the pandemic. Most recently, in Research Services as Knowledge Exchange Coordinator for the drug discovery programme UK SPINE.
Previous to her University career, Clare owned the party shop, Celebrations, beloved by Oxford students for fancy dress and silly string. She originally trained and worked as a professional actor, and can still be found treading the boards today on the amateur circuit.
