Claudia Rapp

Claudia Rapp is the Professor of Byzantine Studies at the University of Vienna and the Director of the Division of Byzantine Research/IMAFO, at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She is also the Principal Investigator of the Wittgenstein-Prize funded project Moving Byzantium.
In 2019, she was a co-organiser of the 'The 20th Oxford-Princeton-Vienna-Berlin-Mainz Graduate Exchange in Late Antique, Byzantine and Medieval History', which was co-funded by the International Partnership Scheme.
