Dan Hodgkinson

Dan is an Africanist historian with an inter-disciplinary training in Development Studies, whose work explores how young people’s struggle for self-mastery has shaped and been shaped by the intellectual, economic, political and cultural currents of the late-twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. He is increasingly interested in how non-human beings - animal, plant and robotic - interpret and make decisions as the worlds around them change.
