Giulia Zornetta hold a BA (2009) and a MA (2012) in History from the University Ca' Foscari of Venice. She did a joint PhD (2018) at the University of Padova, Venezia, Verona and St. Andrews (Scotland, UK). Her PhD thesis (supervisors: prof. Cristina La Rocca, prof. Simon MacLean) focused on public authority and the history of conflicts in Lombard Southern Italy during the 8th and 9th centuries. She is now a research fellow at the University of Padova working on a project and a database on the history of the university and students' mobility during the late middle ages.
