Dr Hannah Coleman Manktelow joined TORCH in January 2019 as the Project Officer (Connecting Researchers and Oxfordshire Theatres). She worked in Higher Education for prior nine years as a researcher and administrator, and recently completed a PhD in provincial Shakespeare performance. Her research interests include the theatrical experience, the history and nature of the theatre industry, and the mechanics of cultural exchange.

Hannah has previously worked on projects with the BBC, British Library, V&A and British Council, and has taught history and drama at the University of Nottingham and King’s College London.
